Philisophical Statement
Ipswich Adventist School supports a Christian Philosophy of life and provides a positive, Christ centred educational experience for students in Prep to Grade Seven.
The program offered by our school is established on the fact that God, the Creator, Sustainer, and Redeemer of the earth, is the source of knowledge, wisdom and truth. Originally people were made in God’s image but sin caused the loss of that condition. It is the purpose of this school to share with its students that God’s Son, Jesus, paid the penalty for sin at Calvary and He provides each child with the free gift of Salvation.
With the guidance of the Holy Spirit and through the study of the Bible, Jesus and nature, people are able to gain knowledge of God. This knowledge assists in bringing about the balanced development of each child spiritually, physically, academically and socially. Through this development, it is God’s wish that all children see themselves as valuable individuals, capable of living happy and productive lives.
Ipswich Adventist School co-operates with the home and church to inspire its students to take an active interest in making the wider community a better place. Our school aims to inspire its students by:
- Providing opportunities for creative development.
- Recognising that each individual has a unique learning style in our technologically changing world.
- Instigating an appropriate behaviour management policy which will enable students to develop positive attitudes towards themselves and others.
- Appreciating cultural differences and scientific advances.
Ipswich Adventist School challenges its students to communicate the Gospel of Christ and His soon return through their lifestyle.
